Carers Bucks had a packed Carers Week this year holding and attending various events throughout the week!

On Tuesday 11th June Carers Bucks held a Carers Information Hub and invited carers who are patients at Cross Keys Surgery to come along and find out about; the support available from Carers Bucks, how to spot the early signs of an infection, and the importance of hydration. Thank you to everyone who came to our event.

Carers Bucks held a Drop-In Session on Thursday 13th June at Iver Medical Centre for carers who are patients at Iver Medical Centre. Lucy Martin, Carers Bucks’ Adult Carers Support Team Leader, was there speaking to carers about their caring role and giving carers advice information and guidance. Once again, thank you everyone who came along to the Drop-In Session.

As well as raising awareness of caring, Carers Week is also all about celebrating our carers which is why Carers Bucks held a celebratory lunch and pamper day for our carers on Friday 14th June. Everyone had a nice day – meeting other carers, having manicures and massages and meeting the Carers Bucks staff. Thank you everyone who came!
