
Celebrate Carers Week at CareFest 2025 – A week of support, connection, and wellbeing
Do you look after a friend, loved one, or neighbour? You’re not alone – and this Carers Week, Carers Bucks and Buckinghamshire Council invite you to CareFest 2025, a celebration dedicated to recognising and supporting unpaid carers across the county.
Running from Monday 9th – Friday 13th June, CareFest is free to attend and offers a welcoming space to:
- Connect with other carers
- Prioritise your wellbeing
- Access local support and advice
What’s on offer?
Each event is packed with relaxing and uplifting activities, including:
Wellbeing & Relaxation: Free massages, yoga sessions, nail painting and henna art
Creative Expression: Craft activities like stone painting, sand art and a reflective writing table
Health & Support: Mini health checks, access to information on carer assessments, dementia support, home safety, and more
Guest Speakers: Inspiring and practical talks throughout the week
Light Entertainment & Refreshments: Enjoy music, sing-alongs and free drinks and snacks
Meet the Team: Talk to staff from Carers Bucks and find out how they can support you

- Winslow Library – Monday 9th June, 10am–2pm
- High Wycombe Library – Wednesday 11th June, 10am–2pm
- Bourne End Library – Friday 13th June, 10am–2pm

Whether you’re new to caring or have supported someone for years, CareFest offers an opportunity to prioritise your own wellbeing, meet others who understand your journey, and discover the local support available to you.
