Caring should not limit opportunity, potential or choice. This Young Carers Action Day, we encourage schools, professionals, employers and partners across Buckinghamshire to pledge their support for fair futures for young carers.
Young carers play vital roles within their families, often taking on responsibilities far beyond their years, juggling school work, friendships and their caring role. With the right understanding, flexibility and support, young carers thrive in education, work, and life.
Without the right support, caring can create barriers that negatively shape the futures of young carers.
Thanks to everyone who joined us to mark Young Carers Action Day – we had a fantastic afternoon, and hope you did too!
It was wonderful to see so many partners, community organisations, professionals, employers, and local representatives in the room, alongside Young Carers and their schools, who were at the heart of the event.
