Lots of information on various different organisation that may be able to support you as a family.
- Thomley Hall – They have lots of activities available for autistic children. These are held on specific days and are detailed on the calendar on their website. - Connection Support – Buckinghamshire (formally Barnardo’s Support 4 Parents)
- CHAT – this is an organisation to offer respite care to help the family.
- Clearly Cool Youth Club – youth club for children and young people who have a diagnosis, or are suspected as having ASD/Asperger’s and associated special needs.
- GRASPS – Asperger ASD Support Group | Buckinghamshire Mind Guide Directory – (Great resources for Autistic/Asperger’s children, supporting siblings and parents) G.R.A.S.P supports families affected by ASD and Asperger’s, in particular. They hold regular outreach meetings in Aylesbury and North Buckinghamshire with the primary objectives of sharing and exchanging information, providing empathy and support for one another’s’ families and help you realise that you are not alone! - Autism Teaching Company – Has support for the child with autism and for the parents/carers.
- Action for Children – Bucks Activity Project (Aylesbury) – cater for children with disabilities and a variety of additional needs.
- Sense is an online organisation to help families with complex needs. They also have support for young carers and siblings of disabled people.
