Throughout the year, Carers Bucks has organised a series of Male Carers Wellbeing Walks across some of Buckinghamshire’s most scenic and restorative countryside.

These guided walks, limited to small groups of 10 carers, have taken place in locations such as Stowe, Cliveden, Hughenden Manor, West Wycombe, Chequers & the Ridgeway, and along the Misbourne Valley from Amersham to Little Missenden.

Each walk has offered a chance to enjoy stunning natural landscapes, from snowdrops and daffodils in landscaped gardens to serene lakes, ancient woodland, and open hilltop views. More than just exercise, these walks have promoted physical and mental wellbeing, encouraging male carers to step outside, connect with nature, and share time with others in similar roles. The routes have varied from gentle, accessible strolls to multi-terrain trails, always ending with a hot drink and conversation in a welcoming setting.
